If you own a cat, you have to have a sense of humor. If not your lost. Just me and the Cat is about my life with Sweetie, the cat. It provides information about cats, dogs, and other animals, also incudes are recipes for treats, links to where you can find products or help those wonderful animals out, stories about that Crazy Cat of mine, and yes, once in a while, non animal related things that I can’t help but comment on.
My name is Laura, and I am not a crazy cat lady, at least not yet. I have a great love for animals, and get a kick out of some of the things I’ve noticed about my little angel, Sweetie. I know I’m not the only one with stories, and I would love to hear about them.
By the way, I don’t always look like this. Usually I’m in shorts and a t-shirt, no makeup or jewlery. I just figured if I was going to post a picture, I should look good.
This is Sweetie. She’s a cat. Sweetie was left in a box with three other cats one night outside the Bergen County Animal Shelter. She was about 6 or 7 years old which made it difficult to adopt out. Most people want the kittens. She lived in a cage for six weeks before I came along. When I walked into the cage lined room, I noticed a little paw sticking out of the bars and waiving me over. Yes folks, she picked me, not the other way around. And she’s been in charge ever since.
